Stories and photos about life along the Continental Divide in Montana between the Clark Fork (westslope) and Big Hole (eastslope) Rivers. Fresh back from a Fulbright in South China, I am looking at American culture/nature through new eyes. Backpacking, cross country skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking... this is the story of a 4-season outdoors person.

I bet that is a very interesting gathering!!! I hope it went well!
Wish I could have been there Pat. I loved on China. On another note we just returned from a week long camping outing to the boreal forest in northeast Mn. (the Arrowhead Country). The region is plasted with Koch brothers funded yard Republican yard signs and even more ominously huge billboards touting the opening of the area to copper/nickel and other metals mining. A neighboring camper and geologist Professor at Univ of Mn Duluth discounted my concerns about sulfide runoffs in this pristine area. I wish you had been there.....
