Stories and photos about life along the Continental Divide in Montana between the Clark Fork (westslope) and Big Hole (eastslope) Rivers. Fresh back from a Fulbright in South China, I am looking at American culture/nature through new eyes. Backpacking, cross country skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking... this is the story of a 4-season outdoors person.

A Crappy Bus Stop Bench in Boise Idaho
Next time your kids ask you why they need to complete college and find a career, show them this:
Hi Eco..... What a funny ad --on that bench... What would you say to someone who asks what your son does for a living????? "Uh---well, my son is a Pooper Scooper." ha ha ha
Guess this would encourage one to get a college education, huh????? Of course, my hubby's daughter has a degree in Stage Management (Theatre)... Has she used it???? NO... What is she doing? She's working as a clerk in an Eye-glasses store--probably making minimum wage... DUH!!!!!
When I was 8 or 9, I was reading the ads in the back of one of my Dad's magazines for a contraption whose name just cracked me up every time I said it aloud, probably because of the rhyming of the words: Super-Dooper Pooper Scooper.
