On a Fulbright until early July, I am with Southwestern University in Beibei (near Chongqing) teaching U.S. environmental history. Though far from my home in Montana, I am enjoying the warm hospitality, wonderful food, cultural traditions, and rapid socioeconomic change of the 21st century People's Republic of China.
