Grizzly Bears and Delisting

Stories and photos about life along the Continental Divide in Montana between the Clark Fork (westslope) and Big Hole (eastslope) Rivers. Fresh back from a Fulbright in South China, I am looking at American culture/nature through new eyes. Backpacking, cross country skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking... this is the story of a 4-season outdoors person.

That almost doesn't look real.
It looks a little forboding to me. Say that a multi talented dog you got there Eco! :)
There is a sense of unreal, but beautiful as only Montana skies can be! Have a great weekend!

Do you ever get used to that view?
What a great view! Looks like that sky and clouds may be bringing more snow.
Hi!
Everyone has the same thought... how surreal...unreal... it is!
The majestic mountains covered with an almost perfectly symmetrical cloud cover. It looks like an artist created the whole scene...
Oh, an Artist did!
~ Beautiful ~
*happy weekend to you*

beautiful photo
very cool!
i spent a lot of time in the Sierra Nevadas north of Yosemite, and those mountains would get the 'flying saucer' shaped clouds. i've never seen those over any other mountains (though they MUST form elsewhere...)
